CDA Renewal
Designed for teachers needing to renew their CDA Credential who completed their CDA coursework at NCC or at another professional development organization or institution of higher education.
The following courses below are recommended renewal courses for the National CDA and may be used for CDA renewal. The Council of Professional Recognition is the organization that renews a CDA.

To search courses above, please go to Northampton's Course Search tool webapp.northampton.edu/coursesearch/default.aspx and pick the correct semester and catalog (by department) and then select the course
If you have taken courses from NCC previously:
Print and fill out a Re-Entry Form To be used by students who did not attend for one or more major semesters or who previously applied but never attended
Then, Print and fill out a Credit Registration Form (use class listing above, find section numbers by clicking on the courses)
Fax both forms to 610-861-5551
If you are new to NCC:
Complete an online NCC Application There is a one-time application fee of $25.00
Then, Print and fill out a Credit Registration Form (use class listing above, find section numbers by clicking on the courses)

Please Note: National CDA credentials must be renewed in three years from date of issue with the Council of Professional Recognition. After the first three-year renewal, renewal is required every five years.
